Our Mission
We are guided by the fundamental principle of creating opportunity for others. Furthermore, we believe in the universal power of sports to transform lives, to build more vibrant and sustainable communities, and most importantly, to inspire young boys and girls around the globe, regardless of their present circumstances, to dream boldly and to imagine a brighter and more prosperous future.
What We Do
We identify regions in the world where children lack modern, safe green spaces to play football, and with the generosity of our global philanthropic partners, we build high-quality mini pitch projects where youth can participate in recreational and organized football activities.
Why We Build
We built, because we firmly believe that each project not only transforms the land upon which it is build, but also positively transforms the lives of each and every young boy and girl that plays on it. Furthermore, these projects are confirmation to them that they are seen and not forgotten, and that there are people in the world that believe in their unlimited potential.
Vision 2030
Vision 2030 is our initiative to integrate educational learning centers with each mini pitch project, by 2030, to ensure that each child develops the foundational tools for future success.
Combating Gender Inequality
According to the World Bank and the United Nations, the best way to combat poverty and stagnation in developing countries is to invest in girls and women. Offering girls more opportunities to participate in sports leads to an increase in their overall confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy.
Promoting Health, Wellness, and Education Through Sports
Research indicates that regular physical activity helps children to maintain healthy bodies; to reduce childhood obesity; and to prevent or delay the development of certain chronic diseases. Furthermore, physical activity, in general, is associated with improved academic achievement, including higher grades and standardized test scores.
Building Stronger Communities
A 2019 study by the Aspen Institute found a direct correlation between the vitality of a community and its overall level of participation in sports. Youth participation in sports teaches valuable lessons such as teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship which can translate into lifelong positive behaviors within a community.
